The Club's History

Formed in August 1990 for quads only and was then known as the Mid-Hants Quad Club. The first ever meeting was held at Fobdown Farm and attracted many competitors and spectators. Not content with running motocross events, the club also created a new format of quad racing - on ice!. The club was successful in promoting and organising several seasons of ice raciing for the quads.

In July 1993, the Mid-Hants club held a meeting at Fobdown which included solo's for the first ever. It was said at the time by the club that "it's a completely one-off happening and the club does not plan to run with solo's at any other meeting". This most definitely wasn't a one-off, as the club has included solo's in virtually all of it's meetings since then!

The club has continued growing and providing first class racing for all of it's members, and remains to be one of the friendliest and well organised clubs in the South of England.
